Install CruzeTVX on Samsung Smart TV

Install CruzeTVX on your Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) and stream 3000+ Indian, Pakistani and South Asian live channels. Full step-by-step setup guide with troubleshooting.

About 5 minutes · 5 steps

Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen OS, which has its own app store separate from Android. CruzeTVX installs directly from that store on supported models, so there is no sideloading involved — you sign in and start watching. This guide covers the install, what to do on older Tizen models, and the handful of issues people most often hit.

What you'll need

  • A Samsung Smart TV running Tizen (2018 models or newer recommended)
  • The TV connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet
  • A Samsung account signed in on the TV
  • An active CruzeTVX subscription

Step-by-step installation

  1. Step 1: Connect the TV to the internet

Press Home on the remote, then go to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings and connect via Wi-Fi or a wired connection. A wired connection gives noticeably steadier HD playback if the router is nearby.

  2. Step 2: Open the Samsung Apps store

Press the Home button and select Apps from the launcher bar at the bottom of the screen. Sign in with your Samsung account if prompted — the store will not install anything until you do.

  3. Step 3: Search for CruzeTVX

Select the magnifying glass in the top-right of the Apps screen and type 'CruzeTVX' using the on-screen keyboard. Select the app from the results.

  4. Step 4: Install and launch

Choose Install and wait for the download to finish, then select Open. You can also add CruzeTVX to your home row by highlighting it in Apps and choosing Add to Home.

  5. Step 5: Sign in to your account

Enter the email and password from your CruzeTVX subscription. The channel list and on-demand library load automatically once you are signed in.

If something goes wrong

CruzeTVX does not appear in the Samsung store

This usually means the TV is an older Tizen model outside the supported range. The simplest fix is a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box plugged into a spare HDMI port — CruzeTVX runs on both.

The app installs but will not open

Clear the cache from Settings > Support > Device Care > Manage Storage, then restart the TV by holding the power button for five seconds. If it persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Picture stutters on 4K content

Check that the TV's picture mode is not applying heavy motion processing, and confirm your connection is at least 25 Mbps for 4K streams. Switching to a wired Ethernet connection resolves most stutter.
