The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most popular way to watch CruzeTVX, because it turns any TV with an HDMI port into a smart TV for very little money. Because CruzeTVX is distributed as an APK rather than through the Amazon Appstore, installation uses the standard Downloader sideloading method. It takes about ten minutes and you only do it once.

- An Amazon Fire TV Stick (any generation, including Lite and 4K)
- A stable internet connection — 10 Mbps or better for HD
- An active CruzeTVX subscription
- The Downloader app (free, from the Amazon Appstore)
Step-by-step installation
Step 1: Allow apps from unknown sources
From the Fire TV home screen go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options, then turn on 'Install unknown apps'. On newer Fire OS builds you enable this per-app, so allow it for Downloader specifically. This is the standard Amazon setting for sideloading and can be switched back off afterwards.
Step 2: Install the Downloader app
Search the Fire TV store for 'Downloader' (the orange icon by AFTVnews) and install it. Downloader is a free, Amazon-approved utility that fetches an installer file from a web address.
Step 3: Enter the CruzeTVX download link
Open Downloader, select the URL box, and type the CruzeTVX APK address shown on the CruzeTVX downloads page. Press Go and wait for the file to finish downloading.
Step 4: Install the app
When the download completes, Fire TV shows an install prompt. Choose Install, wait for confirmation, then select Done. You can safely delete the downloaded APK file when Downloader offers, to free up space.
Step 5: Sign in and start watching
Open CruzeTVX from your Fire TV apps row, sign in with the account details from your subscription, and the full channel list loads. Long-press the app icon and choose 'Move to Front' to keep it handy on the home row.
If something goes wrong
The install was blocked
Re-check Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options and confirm 'Install unknown apps' is enabled for Downloader specifically, not just globally. Newer Fire OS versions moved this to a per-app permission.
Downloader says the file could not be found
The URL was almost certainly mistyped — the Fire TV on-screen keyboard makes this easy to do. Re-enter it carefully, and check for a missing 'http://' prefix.
Video buffers or drops quality
Fire TV Sticks share bandwidth with everything else on your Wi-Fi. Test your speed from Settings, move the Stick closer to the router or use an Ethernet adapter, and close background apps by restarting the device.
